If you didn't expend all your Halloween energy (and sexy, sexy costume magic) over the weekend, there are a few holidays parties planned for Wednesday that are guaranteed to have you feeling like crap on Thursday morning. Even if costume parties and creepy cocktail recipes aren't your bag, check out the other food- and drink-related events planned for this week, including food truck happenings, liquor-laced dinners, and more. After the jump, find a roundup of events planned for this week in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Monday

Food truck rally in Hollywood

The long-running weekly food truck rally in downtown Hollywood will host nearly 30 food trucks from 5:30 to 9:30 tonight (Monday) at Arts Park in Young Circle. On the lineup this week are familiar favorites like B.C. Tacos, Ms. Cheezious, Nacho Bizness, and The Rolling Stove among many others. There's no cost to attend, beyond the price of your meal(s).

Tuesday

Food truck invasion in Plantation

The west side of Broward gets a little love with the weekly food truck invasion from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in Plantation Heritage Park. This week's list of participants includes B.C. Tacos, HipPOPs, Ms. Cheezious, Slow Food Truck, Zombie Ice, and many others. Learn more about the event's background by reading "Plantation to Get a New Weekly Food Truck Rally Beginning in October."

Wednesday (Halloween)

Boo Bash at RA Sushi

RA Sushi locations in Palm Beach Gardens and Pembroke Pines will celebrate Halloween with food and drink specials starting at 7 p.m. and continuing until closing on Wednesday. Dress up like a sexy California roll (why not?) and enter the costume contest: First place prize is a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant and second place gets a $25 certificate. The bar will be serving festive drink specials like "sinner's sangria," "berry bloody," "grape ghoulade," and "frozen swampwater." Those special cocktails are $8 each.

III Forks and Catina Laredo Halloween party

III Forks and Cantina Laredo in Palm Beach Gardens are teaming up for a "spooky" tribute to Halloween with a DJ, salsa lessons, costumes, and pumpkin carving contests. In addition to the merriment are half-priced fajitas for two. The party is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday making it easy to get up for work on time Thursday morning.

Halloween festivities at T-Mex Cantina

Expect to see many creative interpretations of sultry what-have-you costumes at T-Mex Cantina in Fort Lauderdale. The bar/restaurant is hosting a Halloween bash that kicks off at 4 p.m. Wednesday with two-for-one drink specials from 4 to 10 p.m. and a costume contest with judging at 9:30 p.m. The kitchen will remain open late to accommodate Halloween partiers.

Thursday

BeachBash

Billing itself as "Fort Lauderdale's sexiest party of the year" the BeachBash from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Thursday includes tastings by Tap 42, Hyatt Pier Sixty-Six, Rice & Dough, ARC Broward Culinary Institute, Bill Hasen Catering, and Chef George Catering. Valentino in Fort Lauderdale will handle food for the VIP area. In the interest of filling up the dancefloor, Premier Beverage will helm the open bar all night long so party-goers can get a swerve on. The festivities will be held in the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six Panorama Ballroom. Tickets are $50 in advance or $65 at the door. VIP spots are available for $100 and $125, respectively. Call 954-739-5006. DJ Supersede, DJ for the Miami Dolphins, will provide the music for the event, which is part of the 17th annual Jeb Bush Florida Classic to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Scotch pairing

The Pub Pembroke Pines will host a Glenmorangie scotch pairing dinner from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The cost is $30 per person. Read more about the special event at "Scotchy Scotch Scotch, Down Into My Belly: Glenmorangie Scotch Pairing Dinner November 1."
