Around and around we go; today is the start to yet another lovely workweek. Hopefully, you have a bit of a spring in your step from some indulgent weekend activities. If not, don't fret, there's still plenty of events to keep you busy through your working days.

Whether you're looking to drink some interesting beer, learn to cook, or just go crazy on one of the biggest drinking holidays in the country, there's something to do in Broward and Palm Beach Counties this week.

Monday

Sake de Mayo

For an Asian take on the Western Hemisphere's favorite day, head to Kapow! Noodle Bar's Sake de Mayo on Monday. All day long, it's offering $3 Sapporo sake bombs, $5 hot sake carafes, and $5 Partida margaritas.

Cinco de Mayo for Cystic Fibrosis

Exposed Public Relation's Alysia Naples is hosting a Cinco de Mayo fiesta at McSorley's Irish Pub to raise funds for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Wristbands are $20, which includes a raffle ticket, live music (not Mexican or Irish), and a complimentary cocktail. All proceeds are directly benefitting the foundation.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta

It's time to party on Monday starting at noon. Taco Beach Shack in Hollywood is hosting one serious cinco fiesta. It includes three mini tacos for $5, $3 Modelo Drafts, and $15 Domestic Beer Buckets. Family friendly entertainment features a taco eating contest (winner gets a free night at The Catalina Hotel), mariachi band, free pony rides, face painting, and more.

Tuesday

Taco Tuesday

Don't worry: if you didn't your fill of tacos for Cinco de Mayo, there's still time on Tuesday. The only Taco Tuesday deal in Himmarshee Village, T-Mex offers 2-4-1 chicken, beef, and avocado tacos all day long.

The United Way's The Great Give

Chances are you've thought about donating some time and money, but you haven't gone much further dedicating a few brain waves. Here's your chance to get involved by imbibing some cocktails. On Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Kapow! Noodle Bar and the Dubliner's The Great Give for United Way. In support of local nonprofits, both locations are offering special give-tinis a portion of the proceeds of which is going toward donations. Additional donations will be accepted and appreciated.

Abita Pint Night

Time to get away from the mass produced Mexican brews and delve into some Cajun favorites on Tuesday. Tap 42 is hosting an Abita Pint Night starting at 7 p.m. The bar is offering a selection from the brewery, including Amber, Purple Haze, Andygator, Strawberry Harvest, Select Imperator, and Bourbon Barrel Aged Baltic Porter.

Wednesday

Cheese Course Favorites

By mid-week, we could all use a bit of wine and cheese. From 7 to 9 p.m., indulge for free at the Cheese Course in Plantation. The spot is offering wine and special cheese picked from the shops cheesemongers themselves. Selections include Humboldt Fog, Pont-L'Eveque, Roquefort, Ossau-Iraty, and L'amuse Gouda.

A Vegetarian's Journey Through India

Most eaters try to claim that vegetarian food tastes like cardboard. Sure, those prepackaged soy-based microwave patties do, but meatless fare doesn't have to be bland. On Wednesday at 6 p.m., Publix Aprons Cooking School in Boca Raton is hosting a vegetarian course in Indian food. For $40 per person, the hands on class with go over some traditional dishes like homemade naan, mixed dal, and saffron rice.

Thursday

DaDa Craft Bazaar

It's time to eat, drink, and get crafty this Thursday. DaDa Restaurant and Lounge is hosting its monthly craft bazaar starting at 9 p.m.. There are anywhere between five and ten vendors per craft show. It takes place on the second Thursday of every month.

Outstanding Italian

Everyone likes Italian -- and we're not just talking food here. Sure, it's easy enough to pick some up, but why not do-it-yourself? On Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Chef Jean-Pierre's Cooking School is hosting an outstanding Italian class. For $68 per person, guests will learn to make an array of traditional fare, such as potato gnocchi ravioli and ricotta and almond mousse.
