Whether you need the cash to support your Netflix and ice cream addiction or you're saving up to buy that monkey you've always wanted, your bank account could certainly use a little breathing room. Don't wistfully stand outside the clubs and watch your friends have fun without you. That's not an option. So here are 5 things to do this weekend for a mere ten bones or less.
5. Makers Square Social Club Grand Opening

9 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Makers Square. 1142 NE 6th Ave, Fort Lauderdale. $10 for nonmembers, no cover for members. Visit Facebook

The social club at Makers Square will be opening tonight with help from folks like Beki Powell and Afrobeta. The party is supposed to last till sunrise so bring some Redbull and take a power nap before you go.

Promised featured entertainment include food, drinks, live music and, according to the Facebook event page, "shenanigans." You had us at shenanigans.
4. One Year Anniversary at The Brewhouse Gallery

If you like celebrating birthdays and beer, this event is for you. It’s Lake Park’s Brewhouse Gallery’s one year anniversary this Saturday. Genres of all types of music will be present, so your picky taste in music is bound to be satisfied somehow. There will be performances by Victoria Leigh, The Psymatics, Fireside Prophets, Speaking Volumes. Packed with craft beer, music, food trucks and art, it’s the perfect excuse to day drink. 

3. Cupcake Burlesque’s Greatest Hits

For five years, the Cupcake Burlesque troupe has been putting on some of the sexiest events South Florida has ever seen. And on Saturday, the girls will bring back some of their favorite themes for one steaming retrospective. Keep an eye peeled for Game of Thrones and Disney Princess burlesque. Who knew Daenerys would make a visit to South Florida?

 2. Palm Air and Hotel Sierra at Dada

You can always count on Delray Beach's Dada to provide some awesome local music in one of the most beautiful spaces in all of Palm Beach County. This Saturday, Palm Air and Hotel Sierra will be giving diners something to chew about.
