5. Wayne White, Douglas Hoekzema and Project LSD Opening
6 p.m. Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13 at Art and Culture Center of Hollywood. 1650 Harrison St, Hollywood. $7 adults, $4 students. Visit Facebook.
Hollywood is a hidden mecca of art and although the monthly Wynwood art walk is happening on Saturday, some of us can't (or just won't) make that drive. Thanks to The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, you can get plenty of your artsy fill with Wayne White's exhibition "Art is Supposed to Hypnotize You or Something", Douglas Hoekzema's "Terrain", and Project LSD, organized by Rob Tufnell. Don't get too excited, though - there will be no real LSD here. Well, none that we know of, anyway. There will be two days of art, music and even a puppet parade, so check out this spot for a jam packed itinerary for two days.
