Shooter’s Rock the Dock will include both drink and food specials to keep you nice and toasty and live bands to keep you moving after those drinks. The musical lineup includes Reggae group Jah Steve & the Counteract Crew, rock n’ rollers Riverdown and R&B rock band Charlie Sullivan & the Rak. This event ends at midnight for twelve hours of nonstop fun.


4. Summer Art Show

You will never get the chance to meet Picasso, but at least at The Beat Cup Cafe’s summer art show, you will be able to meet some cool local artists. These talented individuals include Maitejosune Urrechaga, Robin White, Audrey Bond and Deb Yager. Tom Carr will be playing his local songs at 8:30 p.m. to really set the artsy mood.


3. Public Sounds Collective at The Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery

Full of funk, jazz and soul, Public Sounds will be bringing their sound to Boca’s Funky Buddha this Friday. Perfect for a chill start to your weekend, it’s the essential thing to do. And for a mere six bucks, you’ll get some feel-good, local music. 


2. Band Felix at Dada

Dada, a Delray Beach hidden gem, hosts a free night of music featuring indie rockers Band Felix.\ Well, the drinks aren’t free, but at least a good time is. Duo The Two of Them are also on the bill.
