Tupelo Pop-Up Dinner at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa
Created by 3030 Ocean chef’s Adrienne Grenier, pop-up restaurant Tupelo will make its debut at the Riva restaurant space in the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa (3030 Holiday Dr., Fort Lauderdale). Attendees will enjoy food from Grenier herself, who was a former champion on Food Network’s Chopped. Tupelo is open for dinner daily from August 25 through October 23. Visit TupeloHarborBeach.com.
Chef vs. Chef Series at Max’s Harvest
Starting at 9:30 p.m., week 11 of the Chef vs. Chef series showdown will go down. This week, Tryst’s John Thomas will compete against Eric Grutka of Ian’s Tropical Grill at Max’s Harvest (169 NE 2nd Ave, Pineapple Grove, Delray Beach). The two chefs will be judged by the best food media and experienced foodies with the winner moving on to the next round. Entry is $10 and includes one free wine, beer or cocktail. Food Truck Invasion

American Social Three-Year Anniversary
American Social (located at 721 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will celebrate its three-year anniversary, and you know what that means: food discounts. From now through August 31, the Fort Lauderdale bar will feature its limited edition “Three Cheers for Three Years” anniversary menu. Guests can enjoy a selection of two drinks and one appetizer for $20.
