Win a Pair of Brew Master Tickets to New Times' Beerfest

Want an hour early entrance, an awesome commemorative gift and access to the Brew Master Beer Garden? Tell us what you would call your own personal flavor of craft beer and we'll choose a lucky winner for two Brew Master tickets (value: $130) on Saturday, October 10.

With the rabid proliferation of craft beer and of the breweries that churn them out, almost everyone has indulged in a fantasy or two about brewing beer for a living. Since most of us know nothing about the hard work and sacrifice that goes into building a brewery from scratch — and even less about the actual day-to-day running of a brewery, never mind the ingredients and steps required to brew a beer — most of our fantasies probably revolve around what we would call our various brews. 

So, since you are probably never going to launch your own brewery, why let that brilliant name of your die in obscurity. Share it here, with all of us, and win your way into the Brew Master Beer Garden at the 18th annual New Times' Original Beerfest on October 10. Brewmaster tickets are $65 and include unlimited local and international beer sampling from over 100 vendors, live musical performances, plus access to our Brew Master Beer Garden. But if your beer name is creative enough, you could win your way in.

Just share your name in the comments or on Twitter with the hashtag #MyBeerfestBrew. Maybe add a couple of lines explaining the inspiration for your beer name. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 6, so don't dawdle.

But even if you don't win your way in, it's not too late to save on tickets. Until October 9, general admission is $30 and VIP is $75. At the door, general admission is $40, and VIP is $80. Brew Master tickets will still be $65 at the door, but only if they are still available and they are selling out quick.

New Times' Beerfest is longest running beer festival in South Florida — that means that we've been drinking and celebrating beer long before it was cool to do so! At Beerfest, you'll sample more than 100 different international, local, and craft beers, and enjoy live music, interactive games, and good food.

Fort Lauderdale. General admission is from 7 to 10 p.m., with VIP and Brew Master ticket holders getting in at 6 p.m.
