Your Tuesday just got a little more interesting thanks to the Brass Tap in Boynton Beach, as they are hosting a beer, cheese, and chocolate pairing fueled by Samuel Adams and featuring a pouring from the 2015 edition of the brewery's famed Utopias beer on December 15.

The 28% alcohol by volume behemoth is touted as the "lunatic fringe of extreme beer" by founder and brewer Jim Koch. It is blended with previous vintages going as far back as 1992, then finished in the Barrel Room at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery in Cognac, Armagnac, ruby port, sweet Madeira, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and White Carcavelos wine barrels. With this wine-like character, the beer is left uncarbonated.

For $25, patrons will be able to participate in the sampling, which will include the famed Boston Lager, Stony Brook sour red, and Tetravis quad. Each will be a four-ounce pour leading to a stunning conclusion with an ounce of Utopias.

The flavors supposedly range from fruit-like cherry and raisin to chocolate, leather, and oak.

In a very 20th-century manner, you'll have to physically go to the Brass Tap in Boynton Beach (950 N. Congress Ave., Ste J100, Boynton Beach) and sign up. Any server or bartender will be able to help you out.

"This is a ticketed event with only 20 spots," said Brass Tap General Manager Britni. "Mike from the Boston Beer Company will be leading the tasting, giving us history and information about the brewery, beers, and pairings we've selected."
