No matter how you order one, today you can get a Rok:Brgr burger for $5 during a limited time happy hour.

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the flagship Fort Lauderdale restaurant is hosting a huge happy hour celebration today, December 10. The anniversary festivities feature a special happy hour menu with $5 burgers, $5 cocktails, and $5 beers from 5 to 8 p.m. During the party, guests will also be able to participate in a number of free giveaways including Florida Panthers tickets, a bottle of Rok:Brgr's bourbon barbecue sauce, and Rok:Brgr gift certificates.

Rok:Brgr first opened in 2010 and is often considered one of the city's first burger bars. Today, the gastropub serves 18 signature burgers made with a blend of locally sourced certified Angus beef, creative sharing plates, and offers a variety of more than 45 craft beers as well as an array of handcrafted cocktails.

In the past few years, the Broward-based restaurant has expanded to include two additional locations, one in South Miami and another at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach. Moving forward, Rok:Brgr is planning expansion further north into Palm Beach County and beyond with locations in the works for Delray Beach, Orlando, and Tampa.

This year, the company also began bottling and selling its bourbon barbecue sauce at the request of hungry patrons, an original recipe created by corporate chef Robbins Martinez that includes real Kentucky bourbon, molasses, and a secret blend of spices.

Rok:Brgr is located at 208 SW Second St., Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-525-7656, or visit rokbrgr.com.
