Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in South Florida With These Restaurant Deals

There's more to St. Patrick's Day than getting drunk on green beer — though no judgments if you're into that. Plenty of South Florida restaurants are celebrating this most Irish of days by putting their own flair into preparing traditional Irish dishes such as corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, and Guinness chocolate cake. And don't forget the blood sausage.  

To indulge in these meals, prepare by listening to Dropkick Murphys and U2 on repeat while donning the greenest of green to get into the spirit. Here are some restaurants serving up more than just potatoes in honor of St. Patrick’s Day in both Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Pre-St. Patrick's Day Garden Party
Bistro 1001 West Palm Beach (1001 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach) will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a full day early. On Wednesday, March 16, from 6 to 8 p.m., guests can indulge in an Irish-themed menu of food and drinks by executive chef Christian Quiñones. There will also be live entertainment. Tickets cost $60. Kelly Brothers Irish Pub

The Pub in Pembroke Gardens
The Pub (237 SW 145 Terrace, Hollywood) will offer a set menu of Irish-themed food on St. Patrick’s Day. This includes Guinness stew and corned beef and cabbage. The Irishmen
The Irishmen (1745 NW Second Ave., Boca Raton) is taking a rather different route with a free breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. The breakfast is a full Irish buffet, and live music will also be present. Visit irishmenpub.com.

Stout Bar and Grill
Stout Bar and Grill’s (3419 N. Andrews Ave., Oakland Park) doors are swinging open at 10 a.m. on St. Patrick’s Day for an Irish breakfast. Irish music will play all day along with appearances from bagpipers. Also featured is the annual Jameson shot luge. Visit stoutbarandgrill.com.

McSorley's Beach Pub

Tilted Kilt
Tilted Kilt (219 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will offer $5 Guinness, Blondes, IPAs and $7 Irish Car Bombs for its St. Patrick’s Day celebration. These specials are all day and night. Himmarshee Public House (201 SW Second St.,  Fort Lauderdale) will have a St. Patrick's Day-themed brunch starting at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 13. The Field
