Sushi-Making Class
Shooters Waterfront (3033 NE 32nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will host its monthly sushi-making class, complete with a three-course menu and sake pairing. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $39 per person or $60 per couple. Call 954-566-2855.

Old Town Untapped
Bailey Contemporary Arts (41 NE First St., Pompano Beach) will host a brew and arts festival, Old Town Untapped. There will be free craft beer samples from Pompano breweries, art, food trucks, live music, and more. Featured this month is a beach theme with barbecue foods. This event is from 6 to 9 p.m. Visit baileyarts.org.

Lobster & Clam Bake
The Diplomat Golf & Tennis Club (501 Diplomat Parkway, Hallandale Beach) will host a clam and lobster bake starting at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $55. There are also golf and tennis tournaments starting at 4:30 p.m. Visit diplomatgolf.com/index.php.

SwitchBox Coffee Roasters Grand Opening
SwitchBox Coffee Roasters (3446 NE 12th Ave., Fort Lauderdale) will officially open at 11 a.m. Featured are Funky Buddha free beer samples from 5 to 8 p.m. as well as free grilled food. Visit switchboxcoffee.com.

Snifter Club Sign-Up Shindig
Funky Buddha Brewery (1201 NE 38th St., Oakland Park) will allow guests to sign up for their Snifter Club starting at 11:30 a.m. Limited beers on tap include Don’t Tell Reese, Mango Hop, Muy Bonita, and Neapolitan. Membership is $50 annually. Visit funkybuddhabrewery.com.

Brass Tap Beer-BQ
The Brass Tap in Pembroke Pines (600 SW 145th Terrace, Pembroke Pines) will serve barbecue courtesy of Flagler Village Brewery. There will also be live music and $4 drink specials with Flagler Village Brewery drafts and Big Cypress Brewing selects. Cost of food ranges from $8 to $10 a plate. This is from noon to 10 p.m.

The Fort Lauderdale location (551 N. Federal Highway., Fort Lauderdale) will also host the same party, but with all-you-can-drink Flagler Village Summer Shandy (limited release), MIA 305 Golden Ale, Flagler Village Ft. Beauty and the Feast Brunch
Beauty and the Feast Bar|Kitchen (601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) has a prix-fixe brunch setting with an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet. Also available are $15 bottomless bellinis, bloody marys, and mimosas. Brunch is from 10:30 a.m. till 3 p.m. Visit society8.com.

Independence Day at Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails
Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails (111 S. Surf Road, Hallandale Beach) will have a two-day celebration for the Fourth. From noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, guests can enjoy American barbecue as well as  $10 festive blue and red frozen cocktails. Visit sbe.com.

Red, White, and Brunch
Tap 42 (1411 S. Andrews Ave., Fort Lauderdale and 5050 Town Center Circle, Boca Raton) will have a Fourth of July brunch complete with red, white, and blue pancakes as well as drink specials including bottomless bloody marys, Funky Buddha Floridians, and mimosas for $15. Fourth of July at Beauty and the Feast
The Atlantic Hotel & Spa (601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale) will offer an all-American gourmet barbecue from Beauty and the Feast as well as Cruzan Rum and drink specials. The bar opens at 4 p.m., and the first seating is at 5:45 p.m. Tickets are $45. Visit society8.com.

Barbecue at Pistache French Bistro
Pistache French Bistro (101 N. Clematis St., West Palm Beach) will host an American barbecue as well as provide a spot to watch fireworks. This starts at 5:30 p.m. Visit pistachewpb.com

Star Spangled Spectacular
Celebrate the Fourth of July with food trucks at the Village of Royal Palm Beach (1050 Royal Palm Beach Blvd., Royal Palm Beach). This starts at 1 p.m. and also includes games, rides, live music, and fireworks at 9 p.m. Visit royalpalmbeach.com.
