This year, New Times will launch an all-new, food-focused event appropriately dubbed E.A.T!, an evening of epicurean delights and drinks presented by dozens of South Florida's most beloved restaurants.
E.A.T! — which stands for "Edible, Artisanal, and Tasteful" — gives guests the chance to participate in a food adventure like no other. The event will take place at the BB&T Center in Sunrise on Wednesday, September 21.
New Times has successfully produced food-and-beverage events such as Pairings, and now E.A.T! will take things to the next level by showcasing a cooking competition that will take place on the Monark Kitchen Stage, presented by Goya and including ingredients from Hollywood-based Sunshine Provisions.
Confirmed participating restaurants include: Market 17, 3030 Ocean, Sea Level, Bravo Ristorante, Joe's Crab Shack, the Brass Tap, Shooters Waterfront, Boatyard Restaurant, and Ceviche by the Sea in Fort Lauderdale; Ciao Cucina & Bar and Ethos Greek Bistro in Coconut Creek; Sky Thai Sushi and Garlic Knot in Oakland Park; Oceans 234 and JB's on the Beach in Deerfield Beach; Buddha Sky Bar in Delray Beach; the Rusty Hook Tavern in Pompano Beach; Helen & Meyer's in Hollywood; Tee Jay Thai Sushi in Wilton Manors; Catered Fit in North Lauderdale; Chicks N Wings in Cutler Bay; and Brazaviva Brazilian Steakhouse in Doral.
