Welcome to October, the best month of the year for beer!
Next Thursday America’s backyard will be hosting a beer tasting on its outdoor patio from 6 to 9 p.m. You’ll get the opportunity to learn about and taste a bunch of different beer styles and get a free pint of your favorite. The South Florida beer lovers are celebrating Octoberfest with a special tasting as well. This month the focus is on Octoberfest/Marzen beers. Homebrewers will be bringing in kegs of their own Marzens to sample and trade, and get evaluated next to commercial brews. The tasting costs $15, or $5 if you bring your own bottles to share.
