Knowing your dinner tab is going to help kids and families who are in need is one way to get the warm and fuzzies (pairing your meal with a glass or two of red is another). FLIPANY’s Chefs Up Front dinner raises funds for a worthy org — Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters program, courtesy of FLIPANY — and gives diners a chance to rub elbows with some of the region’s top names in food.
Watch as one of ten chefs — including Adrianne Calvo, Howie Kleinberg, and Marc Gruverman — prepares a meal tableside just for you and nine other companions. Specially paired wines are included. The fundraising event is 6 p.m. Thursday at W. Fort Lauderdale Hotel. Tickets cost $150 per person or $1,500 per table, which may mean a choice of chef if available.
