Just when you thought that the only people who hung out in parks at night were bums and hookers, the second annual Chillounge Night comes around and changes it all. On February 5th hundreds of daybeds and lounge chairs will be set-up on The Great Lawn at Old School Square in downtown Delray to create a unique outdoor exclusive night of food, drinks, and live music.
Advance tickets are on sale now for $20, or if you’re a procrastinator like most of us, you can buy them at the door for $25. If “general admission”isn’t really your style you can always splurge on the $100 VIP ticket, which includes complimentary food, access to a full liquor bar and a stogie from the cigar bar.

While you’re sipping and devouring the signature creations from local restaurants, you’ll also be privy to the musical stylings of Alex Romano (from the Music Fusion Band) and the Terry Cooper band. But the fun isn’t over yet. You’ll want to be sure to stay for the fashion show, daybed parade, brazilian sambra parade and fireworks display.
Feeling guilty about blowing your weekly latte allowance on your ticket? Well, just chill. The event will benefit the Nat King Cole Generation Hope, which promotes music education in South Florida.
