St. Patrick’s Day obviously brings out the frat boy in all of us. Though the original Patrick was too busy wrangling snakes to be that much of a party guy, every year on March 17, we make up for it in a big way — in his name.
This St. Paddy’s day, Clematis Street in West Palm Beach is closing off some of its streets and letting the parties spill out from the bars. We’re talking live music, Irish food, bagpipes, beer pong, and a visit from Patrick himself.
Roxy’s Pub is hosting a party suitable for the entire family. The three-bar complex is taking up the 300 block of Clematis for a giant green block party.
For the kids,
there’s a bounce house and a family area. For those of us 21 and over who still act like kids, Roxy’s is attempting to break the Guinness World’s Record for the largest beer pong tournament. The tournament
will be held from 1 to 10 p.m. Registration for teams is $25 in advance,
$30 at the door and covers a pitcher of beer per round. To register
for the game, click here.
Roxy’s is also featuring drink specials, free kegs, and eggs from 9 a.m. to noon and live music.
