Wow — Fourth of July. High humidity, grilled burgers, fireworks, and paint-by-numbers patriotism, all on the same day. Naturally, as a summer holiday, it’s usually an excuse for drinking. You can buy a case of Red, White and Blue and pound ’em with your brother-in-law, but what’s the fun in that? Why not try a few themed drinks that are icy-cool?

4.  Coconut Mojito at China Grill, Fort Lauderdale Hilton2 oz. Bacardi Coconut RumSplash of Coco Lopez Cream of CoconutFresh mint leaves (6-10) 1 lime quarteredSoda water Muddle lime and mint together. Fill glass with ice. Add Bacardi and Coco Lopez. Fill remainder of glass with soda water and stir. 
​1. Red, White & Vodka by Eben Freeman, AltaMarea Group, NYC 1 oz. PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur 1 oz. vodka 1 oz. white chocolate liqueur 0.5 oz. simple syrup  Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish by floating pomegranate seeds on top.
