Restaurant debuts are in full swing with the season. In February, we saw the opening of Dennis Max’s Assaggio del Forno and Fort Lauderdale’s own outpost of Lime. We also welcomed Rocco’s Tacos to Palm Beach Gardens, after a monthslong wait. While Mexican, Italian, and steak-house concepts serve the region’s mainstay fare, the location for restaurant openings illuminate change.
Deerfield, Boynton, and Boca are seeing a restaurant renaissance, while restaurants that shutter are predominantly in Fort Lauderdale (a ripe topic for an upcoming blog post). After the jump, this month’s openings, closings, and on deck.
