On Wednesday night, September 22, the Temple Orange restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton on the ocean in Manalapan gets transformed into an alfresco planetarium when the Palm Beach Astronomical Society sets up telescopes on its terrace for guests to stargaze and learn about the cosmos.

Chef Ryan Artim, just back from a mixology class, has created “Moon-tinis” and “Cosmic-politans” and other specialty drinks for the event. It’s free with a cash bar; a bar menu is available for those who don’t dine at Temple Orange first. The fun starts at around 8:30 p.m.
