For all the single ladies — and men – -the spot is holding a singles night, tonight. With an extended happy hour until 9:00pm, anyone who buys a beer for a total stranger gets 10% off their entire tab. According to the Sybarite Pig’s Head Pig, Daniel Naumko, “The beer for a stranger idea kind of just happened. We thought it would be a good way to encourage people to mingle.”
For all the couples, or singles beer-lovers, the restaurant is hosting a Valentine’s Day Craft Beer dinner. Thirty five bucks a per person (plus tax and tip) gets diners a three-course meal paired with beer. The pairings include a San Marzano tomato cream matched to Cigar City Brewing Florida Cracker, lamb orzo with the Bruery Rugbrod, and a toasted coconut macadamia brownie next to Samuel Smith Organic Chocolate Stout.
The single event and the Valentine’s Day dinner are both a part of the spot’s Romance event series. The series is all about showing the love by sharing. After the holidays, the place intends to host a Steak and BJ night–no, not that kind of BJ. The “BJ” stands for “bottle jam,” a bottle share event for beer geeks. Twenty five bucks and a large bottle of beer entitles guests to steak and potatoes, and samples of other diners’ beer. What could possibly be more romantic than that?
