Knowing nothing else about a restaurant but its menu, you’d be forgiven for thinking “Daisy,” “Mermaid,” and “Cinderella” were items at a Disney-themed restaurant. But add in the name Monet Café (7040 W. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, 561-368-1740), the Garden Shops at Boca location, and the cozy luncheonette setting and it becomes possible that the Daisy is actually a bistro-type dish. Grab a casual bite here and it’s eminently clear that not only is the Daisy a crepe filled with white asparagus, artichoke, and chopped spinach but that it’s only one of many delicious possibilities. I have just one quibble, and that’s with the crepe Cinderella, stuffed with turkey, Brie, and red delicious apples. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t Snow White the turkey who ate the apple?
