City Pub

In the back of a strip mall on Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach is the City Pub, an enormous bar in which to catch some live music or take in some interesting conversations with the locals. The dimly lit bar is smoky and filled with an older crowd sipping scotch and whiskey. An enormous bar fills up the center of the room, and a cozy stage takes up a corner opposite a large wooden dance floor surrounded by booths. Although simple in décor, the bar gets its character from the patrons and folks behind the bar. The laid-back City Pub may not be a destination point for most, but it sure is a "just one more drink before we go" kind of place.
