Turtle lovers will enjoy an interactive afternoon focusing on their favorite reptile at the fifth annual Loggerhead Marinelife Day on Saturday, August 20, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., at The Gardens Mall. The all-day exhibition will feature fun and educational programs, conversations with Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) scientists, family-friendly activities, and a special appearance by LMC’s mascot, Fletch. The event is open to the public at no charge. Additionally, The Gardens Mall will donate a percentage of the day’s total, logged shopping receipts to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
