On the West Coast, taco trucks are as ubiquitous as Starbucks. But alas, South Florida isn't so lucky. But we do have Tropical Tacos, which serves up tasty meals on wheels right off of Fort Lauderdale's State Road 84. They serve Mexican style street food, from Baja-style fish tacos to burritos, quesadillas, nachos and even menudo. And for the true taco aficionado, they've got everything from carne asada and chorizo to lengua and pollo, folded inside a little tortilla. Bring cash, order up a mandarin-flavored Jarritos to drink, park yourself at their communal table and have a roadside Mexican feast.
