6. St. Patrick's Day Block Party

Noon, Saturday, March 15, at World of Beer, 4437 Lyons Rd., Suite E-101, Coconut Creek. Visit Facebook.

If any event is out there to give you a massive hangover, this is the one. Spanning over twelve hours long, World of Beer's block party features live music by the Jack Licata Duo, Audio Heist, Social Fly, and DJ Xcentric. Appropriately named beers such as the Lucky Charm, Taste the Rainbow, the Shamrock, and Kiss Me I'm Irish will be provided as well as give-aways and raffles to benefit those in the police force.

7. The Field

11 a.m., Monday, March 17, the Field Irish Pub & Eatery, 3281 Griffin Rd. $10 admission. Visit Facebook.

Though this party happens on the actual Saint Patrick's Day, which is a Monday, you may want to call in sick for this one. The fun starts early at 11 in the morning, but hey, it's 5 o'clock somewhere. Right? Celtic Dreams Bagpipers, a South Florida clogger, Drake School Irish Dancers, and face painters are just some of the main attractions at the Field.

8. The Dubliner

11 a.m., Monday, March 17, at the Dubliner, 210 SW 2nd St., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook.

Stuff your face with Irish favorites like Banger's & Mash and Sherpherd's Pie, and wash the chow down with Guinness and Jameson. Jason Cardinal & the Living Daylights, traditional bagpipers, and Irish dancers will provide the musical entertainment. You'll feel like you're in Ireland. Sláinte!
