Agent Orange to Give Respectable Street a Dose

Legendary for incorporating the surf sound into California hardcore, Agent Orange has been at it for 31 years, and while it lives on the fury of a handful of releases, the live shows are usually excellent, ear-destroying affairs. In August 2009, the band played this same stage with scene stalwarts Fear and D.I., and it was a night full of that infectious punk rock many have come to love.

With founder Mike Palm soldiering along with bassist Perry Giordano and drummer Dave Klein, Agent Orange has epitomized the punk ethos by plowing the road for other acts and never compromising its ethics with major label monies — a firm testament to the value of a hard-working band that rewards its fans with great tours and music. This time around, Agent Orange is the veteran band, but Nerve Scheme, the Coverups, and Unit Six are nothing to scoff at.
