The Miami Light Project and FUNDarte, the nonprofit sponsors of the annual Global Cuba Fest, focusing on contemporary music from throughout the Cuban diaspora, have announced the dates and lineups for the 2009 edition of the weekend-long concert series. The concerts will take place on February 6, 7, and 8, at 8 p.m. each night. Performers are, respectively, Albita, Alex Cuba, and Yosvany Terry. The shows will, unsurprisingly, take place at the lovely outdoor North Beach Bandshell, at 7275 Collins Ave. in Miami Beach. Tickets are on sale now, and cost $20 per individual performance, or $50 for a festival pass.Order them at www.fundarte.us and www.miamilightproject.com, or call 1-800-595-4849.
