We’ve all been to some kind of jam session–whether it be in a garage band’s garage, an intimate club or a full-on jam at a music festival. But bands usually only cover one or two songs. Not freestylin’, rhyme spittin’ ArtOfficial.
Their new 12-track album “The Payback” (released April 23) covers greats like The Beatles (“Happiness is a Warm Gun”), Led Zeppelin (“The Ocean” and “Black Dog”), Jimi Hendrix (“Voodoo Child”), Radiohead (“Talk Show Host”), and the album’s title song, originally by none other than experimental Jazz greats Medeski Martin & Wood.
The real kicker? The band’s offering a download the entire album for free.
