​There's not a whole lot of information out there on local one-man act Audio Lobo, so I'll have to talk out my ass.  Then again, you should be used to it by now. Lobo, an obvious play on the musician's real name (Brian Wolfe) plays sax, keyboards, drums and uses computer programs to combine jazz with funk and electro, creating one damned smooth blend. According to his MySpace, there's also some Regional Mexican in there, but unless he picked up his sound engineer outside Home Depot, I fail to note the influence (I kid, Mexican readers...please, don't send angry letters).

Original compositions and covers of tracks like the Beach Boy's "God Only Knows," and Outkast's "Spottieottiedopalicious" find their way into his setlist. So check him out live at Bougie's tomorrow. And let me know if you see any Mexicans with him, regional or otherwise.
