Barking Up the Right Tree

Don't confuse Scream Tour with Scream Fest: This isn't a convention of B-movie horror stars and starlets. What we have on hand is hunky handfuls of heartthrobs and teenage titillation taking over the Miami Arena, promising to get the young ones hollerin'. Bow Wow (no more "Lil'"; this dog is full-grown and of legal age) and company are set to make the ladies lose their minds -- and maybe a few undergarments -- at the fourth incarnation of this nationwide urban R&Bubblegum festival of hormones. This year, child star turned teen star Bow Wow has reunited with his old mentor, superproducer Jermaine Dupri, after an ill-advised departure from his fold resulted in 2003's not-so-banging Unleashed album. With this year's new release, Wanted, and his return to the Scream Tour fold, Bow Wow and his dawgs put the bite back in the beats and are making all the bitches howl like they're in heat.

Scream Tour IV featuring Bow Wow, Omarion, Bobby Valentine, Marques Houston, B5, and Pretty Ricky starts at 6 p.m. Sunday, September 4, at the Miami Arena, 701 Arena Blvd., Miami. Tickets cost $29.50 to $45. Call 305-530-4400.
