Bat For Lashes Gets Naked for The Haunted Man; Top Five Nude Album Covers (NSFW)

5. Roxy Music - Country Life (1974)
Shot by Eric Boman, this scandalous cover featured two nearly nude models. Rumor has it Bryan Ferry met the females in Portugal, convinced them to do the shoot, as well as enlisted them to assist with the lyrics to "Bitter-Sweet." The cover was censored in the United States, the Netherlands, and Spain, eventually leading to a LP release with an alternate cover sans the scantily-clad lasses. In today's Terry Richardson world, this album cover seems like a boring American Apparel ad.

4. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland (1968)
Man, were the '60s and '70s a great time for tits on record covers or what? For the cover art on the Jimi Hendrix Experience's third and final album featuring new material, Electric Lady Land, a group of 19 women posed nude. However, this wasn't what Hendrix envisioned originally -- he wanted a group of ladies posing with the Alice in Wonderland sculpture in Central Park. Despite his original plans, the bigwigs upstairs went ahead with the nudies. Since, Hendrix family honors his original wishes and has done away with this boob baring cover. We have to ask one thing: Did all boobs look like that in the seventies?
