Benno Blome Plays Electric Pickle Friday

Turns out it's gonna be a full house on Friday night at the Electric

Pickle with Benno Blome booked to play the upstairs room while Sunshine

Jones and Pete Herbert play downstairs. Berlin-based DJ/producer and

Sender label owner Blome is a veteran of that city's underground

scene and a highly-regarded tastemaker for contemporary techno. His

Sender parties have become a touchpoint for timeless transatlantic

techno sounds and his production work has garnered equal praise, both solo and in collaboration with the likes of Matthias Klein, Martin

Eyerer, and acid house pioneer A Guy Called Gerald.

There's really no excuse to miss out on the Pickle this Friday night,

with the best in disco-house downstairs and a taste of the techno

zeitgeist upstairs with Benno Blome. LINK resident DJs Maurizio & Danyelino, Simon

Wish and Joaquin will be spinning in support of Benno Blome.

Benno Blome at the Electric Pickle. Friday, June 10, 2009, 10 p.m.-5 a.m. 2826 N. Miami Ave., Miami.
