Bad news for South Florida followers of the groove, local jam band promoters Brotherly Love Productions has decided to cancel its six-year anniversary party scheduled for this Saturday.
Don't despair, fans of the endless guitar riff, the news isn't all the grim. The party has just been bumped for one week! BLP announced today that it has postponed their anniversary shindig until next weekend, and will be converting it into a bi-coastal affair.
On the West Coast, BLP is joining forces with Dunedin Brewery and electro-indie-jam outfit Ghost Owl (featuring members of Perpetual Groove) for a Gulf-side throw down.
And in our parts, BLP will be hosting a party at Boca Raton's Funky Biscuit next Friday, where both Ghost Owl and Dunedin Brewery beer will be making their South Florida debut.
BLP and Dunedin Brewery Anniversary, featuring Ghost Owl with Freq, 8 p.m., Friday, July 5, the Funky Biscuit, 303 SE Mizner Blvd, Boca Raton. Tickets for the event are $8 in advance at $12 at the door. More info here.
