Camea & Alexi Delano Play Parkwest on Friday, February 5

Two big names in the contemporary underground techno scene will be alighting on Parkwest nightclub in downtown on Friday, February 5, Brooklyn-based DJ/producers Camea and Alexi Delano. Camea Hoffman is a classically-trained musician boasting a darkly sexy and funked-up brand of minimal techno with releases charted by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Magda, and Loco Dice. She runs Clink Recordings, one of the most highly-esteemed American techno imprints with an artist roster that includes some of the most respected stateside EDM producers: Tony Rohr, Alexi Delano, Elon, Adultnapper, and Ambivalent.

Chilean-born DJ/producer Alexi Delano spent his formative years in Sweden where he was part of the first wave of notable Swedish EDM artists in the mid-'90s. He has since gained steady international accolades for his distinctive releases on labels like Poker Flat and Plus 8, which consistently surprise and win over listeners. His 2009 performances at the Electric Pickle and Space made quite a few new converts, so he will no doubt be bringing back a lot of fans to Parkwest. Camea and Alexi Delano's February 5 appearances come on the last leg of their collaborative He Said, She Said Tour, and with added sets by Un_Mute resident DJs DsanPowell, Mario Liberti, and Tuki Romero, this party poised to be one hell of an all-night techno marathon.

Camea and Alexi Delano at Parkwest. Friday, February 5. Doors open at 11 p.m. 30 NE 11th St., downtown Miami.
