"Choo Choo" Romero Plays La Covacha This Friday Night

NYC DJ/producer Harry "Choo Choo" Romero has gained renown since the mid-1990s with releases on various house labels -including Erick Morillo's Subliminal Records- and a reputation for funky uplifting club sets that blend soulful house, US garage, and Latin rhythms. Among various side projects and collaborations, his original production work as Constipated Monkeys (with Subliminal labelmate Jose Nunez) has earned them residencies at both The Ministry of Sound in London and Pacha in Ibiza. Choo Choo will be throwing down at Doral Latin club La Covacha this Friday night, along with locals Lazardi, Mark and Jhonny M, and Juan Duva.

Friday, May 1, 12:20 p.m.-3:20 a.m. La Covacha, 10730 NW 25th, Miami.
