So maybe Crossfade and County Grind are living separately, but our

split was completely amicable. Here are a few stories reported recently

via Miami’s raddest

music blog that we want to make sure our readers see.

  • Fillmore Miami Beach welcomes prog-metal ruffians Deftones and sludgy Baroness for a wimp-free evening August 25. Tickets go on sale Saturday.
  • Interpol is coming to Miami on August 21 with no Bono or Carlos D, and the bloggers are baffled. Watch the NSFW video for “Lights” filled with black, naked surgical things, as well.
  • Singer Gioia Bruno from Miami synth-pop act Exposé (“Seasons Change,” anyone?) got arrested for slinging meth back in April 2009, but it took this long for a “concerned fan” to get this dirt out in the open. Bruno got probation, and has a gig tonight at American Airlines Arena.
