Indie Rocktober is getting serious in South Florida, with Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale and Fillmore Miami Beach leading the way. There will be some casualties as double-bookings are starting to show up.

For instance, come October 19, will it be the previously announced regal rock of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros at Culture Room or the dizzying electronic song collages of Caribou at Grand Central? Caribou is an all-ages show, so that might make it an easy choice for some.

Pity for any band booked the same night as LCD Soundsystem and Sleigh Bells at Fillmore Miami on October 6. We already got a taste of SB's Treats at Respectable Street in July, and it was delicious. Despite some protestations that Hot Chip isn't along for this date, this is gonna be a mother of a show, and every foot in the place is going to be a dancing one.
