So maybe Crossfade and County Grind are living separately, but our split was completely amicable. Here are a few stories reported recently via Miami’s raddest music blog that we want to make sure our readers see.
- Yeasayer is coming to the Fillmore Miami on October 5. Admittedly this band was a bit too jammy and boring for us the last time we saw it perform, but the guys have fresh haircuts, and Odd Blood is the sort of album we like blasting in the car — do it.
- Justin Bieber Justin Bieber Justin Bieber. In addition to his BankAtlantic Center stop on August 5, JB will be in Miami for a show at American Airlines Arena on December 18.
- Hooray for Earth is opening for Surfer Blood and the Pains of Being Pure at Heart on Saturday at Grand Central. Don’t sleep!
- Thank you for being a friend, Rue McClanahan. Now Betty White is the only remaining living Golden Girl.
