David J of Bauhaus/Love & Rockets Fame to Visit Fort Lauderdale November 19

Friday, November 19, is fixing to be a goth holiday of the highest order with a visit by David J scheduled. The bassist, best-known for his tenures with moody, art-punk bands Bauhaus and Love & Rockets, also worked with Perry Farrell in Porno for Pyros and Jane's Addiction.

His scheduled activity in Fort Lauderdale begins an in-store signing at Radio-Active Records that runs from 6 to 7 p.m. Then, slide over to the Monterey Club for a performance and DJ set running from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This posting on the Radio-Active blog gives a few highlights of David J's musical career, including the haunting bass line that defines Bauhaus' "Bela Lugosi's Dead." Below we have more of our personal favorites.
