Fanny Lu to Perform at Bongo's Cuban Cafe

Do you recognize the super-sexy blond cutie in the picture you see at left? You should. This little Colombian bombshell is Fanny Lu. Her 2006 release Lágrimas Cálidas won her all sorts of acclaim, including a nod in the Latin Grammy, six for the Billboard Awards and two in Premios Lo Nuestro. A good deal of that had to do with a little single that I'm sure you heard (A LOT) called "No Te Pido Flores", a tropical track just dripping with the flavor of her native land.

Fanny has since released her followup Dos, which dropped in December of last year to a healthy dose of buzz thanks to its first single, girl-power anthem "No Eres Para Mi", which held the #1 spot in Colombia for several weeks, and the video for which featured funnyman Wilmer Valderrama. Tonight she'll be performing that and other hits at Bongos for American Airlines Nexos' 10th anniversary party.

It's a private party, by invitation only...but you got yours, right? No? I'm sure it was just lost in the mail.
