Over the past two decades, Fishbone has changed markedly. Past members now outnumber current ones, and a few considered part of the classic lineup have quit, rejoined, and then faded away again. However, the important stuff about Fishbone has remained through thick and thin. The band still freely mixes metal, punk, ska, reggae, and funk in an unpredictable brew whose influence is still felt today in any band that similarly crosses those genres. Besides, two of the most important members that define Fishbone are still very much present. John Norwood's chunky, slapping bass still anchors the proceedings, and frontman Angelo Moore is as dynamic as ever.
