Five Best Pride Parties During Stonewall Summer Pride 2013

Wilton Manors is super gay. In fact, it's supposedly the second gayest town in the country.

So it should come as no surprise that our fair gayborhood is about to host a fabulous extravaganza, the Stonewall Summer Pride, this weekend.

And as you would expect, in celebration of the event, the gayborhood is going to feature some epic parties. We have a list of the top five after the jump.

5. Jackhammer T-Dance

Every Sunday, Boom hosts its weekly '70s and '80s Jackhammer T-Dance party, which is the spot's busiest night of the week. With the massive crowds at Stonewall, it'll probably be like the gay South Florida version of Studio 54.

Boom is located at 2232 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors. Call 954-630-3556, or visit boomwiltonmanors.com.

4. Growl

You're not going to find lions. You're not going to find tigers. But you will find yourself plenty of bears. As part of Bill's Filling Station's weekly Growl party, the bar is throwing a special pride edition this weekend with VJ's Kenny Poole and Barry Browder. The bar offers a number of drink specials.

Bill's Filling Station is located at 2209 Wilton Drive, Fort Lauderdale. Call 954-567-5978, or visit billsfillingstation.com.

3. Absolute Outrageous

Vodka tends to liven up a party. Lots of vodka is even better. On Friday night, Georgie's Alibi is hosting a vodka-fueled party with an ice luge, Absolut drink specials, and the special limited edition Alibi Absolut bottle. For the evening, the bar is extending out to the parking lot with outdoor bars and live music. DJ Michael Tank will be spinning.

Georgie's Alibi is located at 2266 Wilton Dr., Wilton Manors. Call 954-565-2526, or visit georgiesalibi.com.
