The event may say Miami, but the party is West Palm. Think of a 305-vibe minus the bad traffic and pumped up on the surfer energy. There will be music by DJs Crespo and Mister Gray. Plus, guys and girls get in for free before 11, so you don't have to worry about leaving your man-on-a-budget behind, ladies. And ladies who arrive before midnight drink free all night long.

4. Surfers for Autism Beach Festival

6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 25 to 26, at 149 SE 21 Ave., Deerfield Beach. Visit Facebook. No cover.

Working with local artists, Surfers for Autism has organized this beach festival to help out children and young adults with special needs. Highly trained surfers guide kids into the water and teach them how to surf. There's no cover and food trucks, exhibitors and beverage vendors will abound. Come through to see local acts such as Stratolites, Bushwood, Making Faces, a Tom Petty tribute act, and more. Trust us, you'll feel better and look tanner after.

3. Gallimimus and the Prescription at Inkwell Pub

10 p.m. Friday, April 25, Inkwell Pub, 238 North State Rd. 7, Margate. Visit Facebook. No cover.

Slide on over to Margate for a free show by the Prescription and Gallimimus. Gallimimus is from Delray and the Prescription from Jensen Beach, and they'll be bringing real, local rock and roll to the stage. What else can you expect? An all around good time and no hefty cover charge -- this show is free.

4. Art Walk Featuring Carteblanchecrew at C&I Studios

7 p.m. Saturday, April 26, C&I Studios, 541 NW 1 Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook. No cover.

C&I Studios comes through again this weekend with a musical art infusion. Hosted by arts collective Carteblanchecrew, there will be plenty of world and reggae music including by the Resolvers, Nativos Jammin Orquestra, and more. DJs will be in abundance with such turntablists as Jackalblue, Low Gravity, and Lucho. Something different about this particular art walk? They promise a "huge surprise" will be unveiled. Oh, C&I, always full of surpises, music, and art.

1. Sunday Night Live Music Showcase Hosted at Dada

Hosted by Chris Imperial, Sunday Night Live will feature artists Tips for Karma, Electric Piquete, and S.S. Francis. Tips for Karma, a band FAU, will bring funky rock sure to make you groove. Expect Latin jazz and funk flavor from Electric Piquete, and Palm Beachers S.S. Francis will bring their eclectic style. Throw in some two for ones with beer specials in the mix and boom! You have your perfect Sunday funday.
