5. Flaunt Presents The Janglin Duo at Respectable Street
10 p.m., Thursday, March 6, at Respectable Street, 518 Clematis St., West Palm Beach. Visit Facebook. No cover.
Claiming to be a "2 man band, 5 man sound," the Janglin Duo promises to bring plenty to the table with their mix of punk and bluegrass. Flaunt, the longest running, best Thursday night indie dance party in West Palm Beach, isn't charging a cover for this jam, so you'll have plenty of dough left over for those $3 Flaunt shots and $2 PBRs.
4. Spred The Dub at the Original Fat Cat's
11 p.m., Thursday, March 6, at Original Fat Cat's, 320 Southwest 2nd St., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook. No cover.
The grittiest, but one of the coolest, venues in downtown Fort Lauderdale will host Spred the Dub for a night of "good time reggae." It'll be bumping till 3 a.m., so have that Advil and Mac and Cheese ready to nurse your dub-induced hangover. This is definitely another show worth showing up bleary-eyed to work on Friday to catch.

8 p.m., Friday, March 7, at Monterey Club, 2608 South Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook. $5 admission.
The Monterey Club is really stepping it up since its recent reopening. They have more live music happening there than we can even comment on. 2. Comedy Show at Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery
8 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery, 2621 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton. Visit Facebook. $5 admission.
Everyone loves to laugh because, well, it's freaking fun. The Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery offers not one but two comedy shows with enough entertainment to giggle your way to a 6-pack. Best part? You can see both shows for a mere $5. Just don't throw rotten fruit at those onstage. That's just not nice.
1. Zero to the Left, the Shakers, and Sandratz at Monterey Club
9 p.m., Saturday, March 8, at Monterey Club, 2608 South Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale. Visit Facebook. $5 admission.
More South Florida punk at Monterey. This show'll be a big one with Zero to the Left, the Shakers, and Sandratz for only $5. Plus, it's 18 and older, so you're more than welcome to corrupt your younger siblings. If you haven't checked out Monterey since the reopening, this'll be the show to attend.
