Five Things to Do Under $5 This Weekend

5. Ladies' Night at Pawn Shop

9 p.m., Friday, January 9, at Pawn Shop. 219 Clematis St., West Palm Beach. Visit Facebook.

Ladies, enjoy the benefits of having two X chromosomes tonight on Clematis with its ladies' night. And, since Pawn Shop doesn't play, it's actually providing complimentary bevs for guys too, until midnight (ladies get free drinks until 1 a.m.). It'll be nice to say hello to 2015 again, and again, the right way: all toasty and with free drinks to toast.

4. Between Enemies, Simple Principles, the Ruins, and Suburban Swamp Kids at O'Malleys

9 p.m., Friday, January 9, at O'Malleys Sports Bar, 1388 N. State Rd. 7, Margate. No cover. Visit Facebook.

Between Enemies, Simple Principles, the Ruins, and Suburban Swamp Kids will be bringing good ol' punk rock to O'Malleys tonight. To sweeten the deal, there's $2 PBR until midnight, $8 beer pitchers, $3 shot specials, and $1 Jello shots. O'Malleys is open until 4 a.m., so you'll have plenty of time to guzzle booze and mosh until the wee hours of the morning.
