3. Flavor of the Week: 3rd Eye Open Edition

7 p.m., Saturday, August 2, at Vape Queen. 5977 S University Dr., Davie. No cover. Visit Facebook.

Do your lungs a favor and stop smoking and start vaping. Who knows what these nicotine vessels do to your body, you're saving at least one major organ. You can get into the whole process at the Vape Queen this Saturday at a party that includes live music by Cam and DMT, vape tasting, and live art by Ian Baca and Indigo Child. The event is free and there will be $1 raffle tickets; the proceeds go to the artists. Word on the street is that the vape flavor of this week is peanut butter cookie. We want a full report on that.

2. Monthly Tea Dance

4 p.m., Sunday, August 3, at Flip Flops Dockside Eatery, 3051 NE 32 Ave., Fort Lauderdale. No cover. Visit Facebook.

Calling all those with August birthdays! Monthly Tea Dance plans to celebrate the day of arrival on this planet for Leos and Virgos with plenty of drag queen fun. Amanda Austin hosts this b-day bash that includes special guests Franchesque Richards, Deja Devonier, Kyla McCray-Taylor and the sounds of DJ Silvio. Guzzle down $3 drinks, but careful, no one wants to be seen with a waste case. This is a classy event, OK?
