The second installment of Decades of Bass will be taking place this Saturday night at Hollywood's Blue Bar & Bistro. Dedicated to reviving South Florida's drum 'n' bass scene, this crew is bringing "deep, dark, and heavy sounds from 1992 to the present" right before Winter Music Conference pumps Miami full of beat-heads of all sorts.

Award winning country rockers Cecilia Lauren and the Ocoee River Band will be performing during KISS Country 99.9's happy hour. With 2-4-1s, 99 cent Bud Lights, and a group with an impressive frontwoman, this is the hoedown you've been waiting for all week.

2. Birthday Candles, Sunnyvale, the Shakers, and 84 Sheepdog

West Palm indie rockers Birthday Candles are blowing out of town for a fairly sizable tour. The group will be playing Delray's Vintage Tap tomorrow night and Propaganda on Sunday for only five bucks. Catch them before they dip with some punk rock openers like '84 SheepDog and the Shakers. Consider this a nice way to kick off your work week in style.
