*Everything the So Raw people touch turns to fun, cheap gold. Their parties are no-bullshit and easy on the wallet, an actual alternative to the so-called alternative of pricey dance parties. This Saturday kicks off a spring/summer marathon of warehouse parties, shows, garage sales, and so forth. Melted Sunglasses, Slippery Slopes, Sexcapades, and Scam Buddiez are on the bill. The show starts at 9 p.m., and $5 admission includes a beer. (Additional beers are only $1.) It's at a spot on NW 71st Street, so click here for more details on Facebook.
*The excellent Minnesota punk band Off With Their Heads plays at Churchill's for $8 in advance. Click here for more details.
