On its MySpace page Sunday, English punk band Gallows unfortunately announced it would be canceling the rest of its tour with AFI, explaining:

"We're sorry to announce that we have had to cancel our remaining dates

on the AFI tour due to illness. We're sorry to disappoint anyone who

bought tickets to see us but make sure you go to the show as AFI are an

amazing band and we're so lucky to have spent the last few weeks

touring with them."

Dave Hause replaced the band in Myrtle Beach and Atlanta Sunday and Monday. But it looks like Jonny Craig, formerly the vocalist for Dance Gavin Dance, will fill in for the rest of the tour starting Wednesday at Revolution, which is a good thing. Dave Hause's acoustic set may have proved a bit of a downer as an opener for energetic gothsters AFI. Craig can sometimes seem like a cross between Mars Volta and A Perfect Circle, just with the occasional funky synth, just waaay softer/poppier, and way more emo with songs like "IStillFeelHer Part 111" and "Children of Divorce." Expect lots of those "To Write Love on Her Arms" T-shirts. Fun (but potentially offensive) fact: Craig has shirts that read "To Write Jonny On Her Arms."
