At first glance, a band called Hit The Lights would probably be considered a Metallica cover band. After all, it's the name of one of the best songs on Kill 'Em All. But in an interview for the Warped Tour, HTL let it fly that their name came from the greatest skateboarding movie of all time: Gleaming the Cube. That makes a hell of a lot more sense when you hear HTL live. They are the very definition of catchy, hook laden pop-punk. Touring in support of their latest full length album Skip School, Start Fights and their EP Coast To Coast, Hit The Lights is bringing along a few bands to fill out the MANATOUR. There For Tomorrow, Vinnie Caruana, Sparks The Rescue, and I Rival round out the bill. Tickets go on sale tomorrow through Ticketmaster for $12.
